The European tour of the Ferrari Challenge will stage its second round of the year in Barcelona, after some changes in the calendar of the championship, bringing the most attractive and fast units of the Italian make, such as the Ferrari 488 Challenge or the 458 Challenge EVO. Participants are distributed into three different classes (Pirelli Trophy, Pirelli Amateur Trophy and Shell Cup).

The “red machines” will be offering takeovers, thrill and fun, with a dyed Ferrari red paddock.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and for security reasons, the event will be held behind closed doors without spectators.

The main novelty in the 2018 calendar of the Circuit, this prestigious single-make championship will be back at the Catalan racetrack after 20 years, on 15 and 16 September. The Ferrari Challenge is divided into three continental series: Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, the latter being the most recent inclusion, as it started back in 2011. The event at the Circuit will be the last out of the six races that make up the European tour and will be closing the season before the World Final that gathers the top three of the three series. Spectators will be able to enjoy some of the most attractive and fastest units of the Italian make, such as the Ferrari 488 Challenge or the 458 Challenge EVO. The participants, who will be divided into three different classes (Pirelli Trophy, Pirelli Amateur Trophy and Shell Cup), will provide for races filled with overtaking, thrill and fun, all coloured in Ferrari red.
