The best of the world of motor sports at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Every season Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is the venue of the best events of the world of motor sports. The most spectacular competitions are staged along the year following an event calendar that gathers thousands of fans in Montmeló.

The star events of the season are with no doubt the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA and the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP, in addition to the Formula One Test Days. In addition to these border-crossing events, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya does also offer an event calendar for all types of public to enjoy. Some seasons ago, the event programme, includes a third world meeting: the FIA Rallycross World Championship. The BarcelonaRX brings every season a weekend filled with thrill and spectacular races, that leave all those attending speechless.

The most emblematic events are the endurance races, which are created and promoted by Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya itself. The 24-hour motorcycle race “24 Horas de Catalunya de Motociclismo” and the 24-hour car race “24 Horas de Barcelona de Automovilismo-Trofeo Fermí Vélez”, are emblematic endurance races in their respective disciplines.

Spirit of Montjuïc is also a must see at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Classic car races on the track and a fantastic offer on the Paddock that delight both young and old.

The event calendar does also include spectacular competitions like the International GT Open, the Barcelona Speed Festival with the Blancpain Series, the V de V Endurance Series, the CER, the RFME Spanish Motorcycling Championship, the FIM CEV Repsol International Championship and the Catalan Car and Motorcycle Racing Championships.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya does also offer a large variety of events which are not related to the world of motor sports. With two-wheels playing the leading role, but without engines, BiCircuit Festival offers a weekend dedicated to bicycle competitions, including a great programme to enjoy with the whole family. There are also running races, such as Mulla’t i Corre or the 10kmRACC, as well as charity days with different charitable purposes along the year.
