Circuit carries out complete renovation of the pit garage doors

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is showing a renewed look of the pit lane. All pit garages have been fitted with a completely new front, after replacing the front door with new motorised ones.

This refurbishment does not only provide for an obvious visual change as regards modernisation, but also an increase in comfort. The new doors, which now work automatically, have a built-in sectional door for pedestrians, making it easier to get in and out of the garages. In the upper section, there is a transparent fanlight that provides for natural light inside the garages.

In this same sense, and following the Circuit’s principles of sustainable and environmentally committed management, the lighting system of the garages has also been replaced. It has now been fitted with LED lights, with a clearly lower consumption and higher power.

The public launch of all of these changes will be in just a few weeks, with the start of the first sports event of the 2020 calendar, the staging of six days of the Formula 1 Pre-season Testing.
