With free admission and a programme designed for all ages, MotoGP Fan Fest Barcelona will bring the World Championship closer to fans with immersive experiences, live music, entertainment, appearances by current riders, interactive activities, and exclusive live content, all in the heart of the city. The event will run from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on both days.
Experiences, activities and entertainment
- Proposals: The MotoGP Fan Fest Barcelona will feature attractions such as riding simulators, a replica of the MotoGP trophy and an exhibition showcasing a superb collection of motorbikes and other riders’ items, such as helmets and leathers. There will also be reaction games, a photo opportunity and a replica podium to capture the best memories.
- Music: The venue in Plaça de Catalunya will host two major performances: the Catalan indie pop band Mishima (on Wednesday at 7.20 p.m.) and the cover band Hotel Cochambre (on Thursday at 7.15 p.m.). A number of DJs from Flaix will also be providing entertainment over the two days: Sergi Domene, Marc Frigola, Andreu Presas and Miquel González will be taking to the stage for a variety of scheduled sets.
- Live programmes: In addition to the musical performances, various programmes will be broadcast live from the Fan Fest. Sports journalist Gerard Romero will be live-streaming on Jijantes, his popular Twitch channel. This will take place on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. On Thursday, the Dura la Vida podcast will be recorded live at 1:00 p.m., while the Versió RAC1 programme with Toni Clapés will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A range of dining options will also be available to ensure a complete experience without leaving the venue.
‘Meet the Riders’: the big meet-and-greet with the stars of the World Championship
One of the most eagerly awaited events of the MotoGP Fan Fest Barcelona is ‘Meet the Riders’, an open meet-and-greet between riders and fans, taking place on Wednesday 13 May. The programme will begin at 16:30 with a welcome from Izaskun Ruiz, a World Championship journalist for DAZN, and Cesc Vila, a speaker at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
They will then be joined on stage by several team managers, before introducing a number of Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders: Ivan Ortolá; José Antonio Rueda with Álvaro Carpe and Brian Uriarte; Daniel Holgado with Máximo Quiles; and finally, Manuel González and David Muñoz.
From 6:00 p.m., the premier class riders will make their grand entrance: Joan Mir, Álex Rins, Pedro Acosta, Álex Márquez and Jorge Martín. Marc Márquez was also expected to attend, but he will eventually be unable to do so due to an injury sustained at this weekend’s French Grand Prix. The reigning world champion will also be unable to take part in his home Grand Prix. Nevertheless, the line-up of leading contenders will be impressive, with many riders in the fight for the title.
From 13 to 14 May in Plaça de Catalunya, and from 15 to 17 May at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Barcelona will become the world’s premier stage for motorcycling. The event will offer a complete experience, bringing together the city, the fans, and the competition like never before.
