Non-stop fun at the Catalan Grand Prix
Fans will be able to enjoy all kinds of activities during the three days of the motorcycling event. From the classic Pit Walk and Open Track to the entertainment areas (Kids Zone, Green Zone, Pelouse Jove and Monster Energy Area), not forgetting the Hero Walk and the Riders Fan Parade.
7 May, 2026 | MotoGP
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has prepared another edition of the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ with the focus on the fans. It has done so by designing a programme with multiple proposals and activities distributed all over the venue, promising constant fun on 15, 16 and 17 May.
THE FUN ZONES
Kids Zone
As usual, there will be an area dedicated to children in the Crater Forest. Activities on offer will include a make-up and tattoo workshop featuring designs inspired by the world of motor racing and the Circuit’s flora and fauna, another paper craft workshop, as well as archery and traditional wooden games.
Green Zone
The Green Zone, located next to the Kids Zone, will once again host activities reflecting the importance of caring for nature. The area with the greatest biodiversity on the Circuit will also feature the Sustainability Meeting Point, a place where visitors can find out more about the Circuit’s work on sustainability; it will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pelouse Jove – Chill Out Zone
The big new feature this year is the Pelouse Jove, an area located at Turn 4 of the circuit where music, entertainment, fun and motorsport come together. Designed for young people aged between 16 and 30, the area will feature a chill-out zone, live DJs with Flaix, a giant screen, table football, snooker, table tennis and food and drink options.
Monster Energy Area
Located behind Grandstand B, Monster will once again have its own area where to show its magic. The area has its own programme of activities, including FMX shows, visits from some of the riders sponsored by the energy drink brand. In this space there will also be a giant screen to follow the activity on the track.
THE USUAL CLASSICS
Pit Walk
On Thursday afternoon, the pit lane of the Circuit will open its doors again for fans to access this magical place from where they can have a close look at the garages, as well as everything that is going on inside them. As usual, some of the World Championship riders are expected to be present to greet their fans. There will be a capacity control to guarantee the best experience for all attendees by means of a free invitation that can be downloaded from the Circuit website. These invitations are already sold out.
Open Track
The final highlight of the Grand Prix will be the possibility to access the track after the end of the MotoGP™ race, the last one to be held on Sunday. This will allow attendees to be part of the podium celebration, as they will be able to go to the Main Straight or any other point of the World Championship track. In order to do so, several accesses will be opened in the public areas.
MotoGP™ FAVOURITES
Hero Walk
The Hero Walk will allow riders to pass through a designated area at the paddock entrance on both Saturday and Sunday mornings to chat with fans, take photos, etc. On Saturday the Moto3™ and Moto2™ riders will pass through from 11.45 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., while on Sunday the MotoGP™ representatives will do so from 10.20 a.m. to 10.40 a.m. The Hero Walk is an activity reserved for Circuit Season Ticket Holders, who receive details on how to take part via email.
Tissot Sprint Podium
For the past two seasons, the MotoGP™ World Championship has held a sprint race on Saturday, known as the Tissot Sprint. This shorter but equally—if not more—exciting race sees the podium ceremony held at a different location each year. On this occasion, the ceremony will take place on the back straight, near the green area behind the Circuit Stadium (the former heliport). Spectators in the vicinity will be able to watch it up close.
Riders Fan Parade
On Sunday at 10 a.m. the Riders Fan Parade will take place, an activity focused on riders and fans. This initiative, which will take place shortly before the start of Sunday’s races, will see MotoGP™ riders tour the track aboard a trailer to greet and cheer on the spectators at the Circuit. During the tour, the riders will make a few stops in front of the grandstands where fan clubs are gathered and will give interviews.
