More entertainment and fun than ever at the Spanish Grand Prix

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will offer fans a complete experience, ranging from the Fan Zone with activities for all ages, to the traditional Pit Walk and Open Track, as well as entertainment areas spread around the circuit.

22 May, 2025 | FORMULA 3

The FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2025 promises to be a huge celebration. And it will be a double celebration, as F1 celebrates its 75th anniversary and the Circuit marks 35 years as the official venue for the Spanish Grand Prix. This context means that entertainment and fun will be more present than ever, offering a unique experience for all attendees.

The Fan Zone expands its offerings

The traditional Fan Zone, located in the public area behind the Main Grandstand, is the main attraction at each edition, with activities for all tastes. For the occasion, the world championship will have an additional Fan Zone next to Grandstand S. This will allow the F1 activities to reach different parts of the track.

This year’s event will feature eSports simulators, recreations of a podium and selfies with the drivers, wind tunnel simulations and the opportunity to see a single-seater car and a championship trophy. In addition, there will be virtual pit lane visits, where you can explore an F1 garage with augmented reality, as well as a pit stop challenge, in which participants must change the tyres of an F1 car in the shortest time possible.

A stage will also be set up behind the Main Grandstand where some of the event’s protagonists (drivers and team managers) will be interviewed on Friday and Saturday in front of all the fans who want to attend the Fan Forum. The Rememberland Show will take place there on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., hosted by the Dream Team Megamix (Quique Tejada and Toni Peret).

One circuit, different entertainment areas

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya continues to offer a wide range of spaces throughout the circuit where there will be endless entertainment.

The Green Zone and the Kids Zone will be located in the area of the Crater Forest. In the Green Zone, activities will focus on sustainability and the environment, and visitors will be able to see a full-scale white single-seater car, which will be turned into a canvas for the artist ‘Pilat’, a Danish illustrator known for her colourful artwork. There will also be a version of a slot track with bicycles.  In the Kids Zone, children will be able to take part in various workshops, such as bubble workshops, handmade crowns, personalised bags, trampolines and wooden games, among other activities.

This year, the Pelouse Jove (Turn 4) will be brought to life by Santander. There will be a giant screen to follow the action on the track, live music, a photocall and more.

Finally, in the Orange Zone – dedicated to the Dutch public in Grandstand G – Dutch DJ Admin Rick Jansen will be in charge of entertaining fans throughout the weekend.

Quique Tejada and Toni Peret, the Dream Team Megamix, will also play a leading role on Grand Prix Sunday, entertaining the crowd from the Circuit podium after the F1 race on Sunday.

In addition, the Castellers de Vilafranca del Penedés will also be there on Sunday to perform their impressive human towers. One of them will be at 11.15 a.m. on the stage near the Main Grandstand and the other at the starting grid at 1.30 p.m.

Pit Walk and Open Track, two unique experiences

As usual, on Thursday 29 May from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., the Pit Walk will take place, allowing fans to access the pit lane, where some World Championship riders are expected to be present. To ensure the smooth running of the event, attendance will be limited by free invitations available to download from the Circuit website, which are already sold out. Those without a free invitation will not be able to access the Circuit or participate in the activity, even if they have a ticket for the GP.

The finale will be the Open Track, during which attendees will have the opportunity to access the track once the Formula 1 race has finished, which will take place on Sunday 1 June at 3 p.m. This is a great opportunity to take part in the podium ceremony, as you will be able to enter the main straight and any other point on the track. Several access points will be set up in the public areas for this purpose.
