Last-gap pole position for Campbell at the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup qualfiying session

Matt Campbell snatched the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup pole position with a blistering 1:49:401 lap in a relaxed qualifying -if we compare it with the free practice, suspended after an accident. As yesterday, Ammermüller set the pace with an early 1:49:706 lap, and went back to the pits shortly after. When all seemed settled, Cammish clocked the same exact time after a fantastic performance in sectors 1 and 2.

As the clock rolled down to zero, Matt Campbell fine-tuned his set-up to perfection and managed a 1:49:401 lap on a traffic-free track. The Australian will take the start from pole in the first 14-lap race, scheduled for tomorrow at 6.25 pm. The second Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race will see the green light on Sunday morning at 11.45 am.
