El piloto catal\u00e1n es el campe\u00f3n de la Kawasaki Z Cup del 2014 y 2015 y vuelve a ser candidato al t\u00edtulo, ya que este a\u00f1o llega tercero en la general al Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. En segunda posici\u00f3n saldr\u00e1 el l\u00edder del campeonato, Ra\u00fal Mart\u00ednez, que ha marcado el mejor tiempo en la segunda sesi\u00f3n de calificaci\u00f3n.
