Formula 1

Next Thursday, 27 February, a small group of people will be able to enjoy one of the great attractions offered by the Formula 1 Pre-Season Testing, the charity tour with Carlos Sainz.

It is the fifth year in a row that Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the Spanish driver get together for a good cause. Fans will not only be able to enjoy a guided tour during which they will get to know the corners of the world championship track in action, as the most prestigious car racing championship has been the host chosen for the occasion; they will also be able to meet Carlos Sainz in person, talk to him, take pictures and get autographs.

The experience includes a conference by journalist Josep Lluis Merlos, who will be offering a detailed analysis of the coming season, as well as of the novelties and the introduced changes. Participants will also have the chance to make a tour around the service tracks of the Circuit, which are usually not accessible for spectators.

The ticket costs €100 and the benefits will go completely to Juegaterapia, a foundation that works in order to improve the quality of life of children suffering from cancer.

Programme:

09:45 h – Start of the tour

10:00 h – Tour around the facilities

10:30 h – Speech by Josep Lluis Merlos

11:00 h – M&G Carlos Sainz

11:30h – Paddock tour

12:00 h – Service track tour

12:30 h – End of the tour
