Making a donation to the Red Cross

Making a donation to the Red Cross, one of the options available to Grand Prix ticket holders

The funds will go to the Red Cross RESPONSE Plan, which is aimed at tackling the social emergency situation caused by COVID-19.

Formula 1MotoGP

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the Red Cross offer all fans holding a ticket for the Formula 1® and MotoGP™ Grands Prix the chance to assign the cost of their tickets to the Red Cross RESPONSE Plan.

The Catalan racetrack and the Humanitarian Institution reached this agreement with the aim of collecting funds to tackle the emergency situation caused by COVID-19. This way, all spectators wishing to do so, will be able to make their donation and do their bit to provide assistance to thousands of people in different areas of action, which have been affected by the pandemic.

Thus, the options offered by Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for all fans already holding a ticket for the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2020 and/or the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ are:

  • Donation to the Red Cross RESPONSE Plan
  • Refund of 100% of the ticket price, management fees included.
  • Upgrade to a 2021 Membership (only for 3-day tickets).
  • Keeping the ticket for the Grand Prix in 2021
  • Keeping the ticket for the Grand Prix in 2021 + 20% discount for the purchase of a second ticket
  • Voucher 2021 for Circuit products

The transaction can be made through a landing page which makes every step very easy and simple. All holders of a ticket for the Formula 1® event can submit their requests from today, and MotoGP™ ticket holders will be able to do so from next 29 June.
