FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO MSC CRUISES DE BARCELONA – CATALUNYA 2026

The F1 of the future is here!

From 12 to 14 June, the Grand Circus will make its usual stop at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to stage the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO MSC CRUISES DE BARCELONA – CATALUNYA 2026.

What’s more, it will do so in a completely ground-breaking context. The premier class of motor racing is introducing new technical regulations: lighter, shorter and more sustainable cars! Continuing with the novelties, Renault is leaving the World Championship as an engine manufacturer, but teams such as Audi, with its own power unit, and Cadillac, which will be using Ferrari engines, are joining.

All this is accompanied by rule changes such as the replacement of DRS with another continuous assistance system, the presence of more rookie drivers and much more!

Fernando Alonso, the brand new ambassador for Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, will be present alongside many other drivers and world champions: Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Charles Leclerc… The Asturian will also have a car developed by Adrian Newey himself, the engineer who holds 25 titles in his career between drivers and constructors.

The drivers in the F2® and F3® categories will also be there, as they will be racing at the Circuit that same weekend. Off the track, fans will be able to enjoy a variety of activities and events spread throughout the circuit.
