Training courses
The Sports Department of the Circuit de Catalunya regularly organizes Training Courses for Officials. They include basically the following ones:
• Access courses: For people wanting to become a Marshal.
• Retraining days: They include fire fighting, live-saving and rescue courses, as well as a review of the sport regulations.
• Pit Lane Marshals: Specific courses on F-1 and Moto Grand Prix starting procedures. And also courses concerning to endurance races.
• Key's Meeting: Exclusive Meetings specially for the Clerks of the Course, where the main items of the meeting are reviewed.
• Watchdog Committee: Meeting only for people in charge of every group, where it is discussed, among others, the training activities for the Officials at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Moreover, Officials in charge attend training activities organized by International, National and Regional Federations, sometimes with the collaboration of the Sports Department of the Circuit de Catalunya:
• Seminar FIM: For Clerks of the Course, Stewards, Secretaries of the Meeting, Medical and Environment Chefs having an international licence.
• Seminars RFE de A and RFME: For Clerks of the Course, Stewards and Secretaries of the Meeting taking part in national meetings.
• Courses COA FCA and FCM: For those wanting to obtain a licence as Official of these federations.
