Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be staging the 24th edition of the 24 Hores de Catalunya de Motociclisme, a motorcycling endurance race that has been taking place on the Catalan racetrack every year in early summer since 1995. Back then, the Catalan track took over from the magical 24 Horas de Montjuïc, which were staged from 1955 to 1986. The event combines a series of elements that turns the race into a true national benchmark as regards endurance racing, and both professional and amateur riders feel as protagonists of the 24-hour race. The race is run clockwise, starting on Saturday at noon, with a “Le Mans”-type start. In the fight for the victory, there are homologated road motorcycles that show their full potential split into different classes: EWC, Superstock 600 and 1000, and Open Superbikes.
The entrance is free during all the weekend!
